The heart of the kitchen is the sandwich maker or “Inshopper” at a Jimmy John’s restaurant. Sandwich Makers are responsible for genuinely greeting customers when they enter and exit the restaurant, providing world-class customer service, while executing fast, fresh, and flawless sandwiches. You must be able to cover all tattoos and piercings with clothing.
Generally all team members that work in a Jimmy John’s are eventually trained on being a cashier, this is not a dedicated job role like at most restaurants.
